Goa Lawah Temple
One of the ancient temples in Bali is Goa Lawah Temple. This temple is located in the Village Pesinggahan, District Dawan and Klungkung regency around 1 hour drive from Denpasar. This temple is right facing the sea in Kusamba. Pura Goa Lawah is also believed to be the place of the head of Sang Naga Basuki as a balancing nature. This temple became one of the most important temple in Bali, because it is believed to be a protector to the southeast of Bali. One of the interesting things in Goa Lawah Temple is a herd of bats that fill this cave hall. These bats are protected by local customary rules and are forbidden to be hunted or captured. Goa Lawah temple has a very close collaboration with Besakih temple in the hall of Mount Agung which is the main or mother temple in Bali. According to local beliefs, this cave hall is connected to the mouth of Goa Raja in Besakih. Pura Goa Lawah is the head representation of Naga Basuki, while Goa Raja temple presents its tail. In Hindu mythology, Dragon Basuki is one of the three godly incarnate dragons revealed to save the earth. The Basuki Dragon becomes a symbol of the cycle balance that occurs in nature.
Tenganan village is close to Candidasa tourist attraction. It is about 70km from Ngurah Rai Airport. In this village we can see the cultural uniqueness of the community. From the traditional house to the craft they produce. The livelihoods of tenganan villagers are mostly rice farmers. Some residents become bamboo woven craftsmen, carvings and Pegringsingan woven fabrics. Pegringsingan Woven Fabrics is the original woven fabric produced only in Tenganan Village. The process is also very manual with double tie system, the only weaving technique that exist in Indonesia so that this woven fabric is very famous in the world. Because of this fabrics, Tenganan Village is also called Tenganan Pegringsingan Village.
The villagers of Tenganan also have a very unique tradition. Every year in mid-July, held a tradition of pandanus mageret (war pandanus). That is the ritual of a pair of village youth, mutually cut with the thorns of pandan leaves on their stage. As a result of the pandan leaf incision, it will cause wounds on the back of the village youth. After the pandanus war is over, the wound will be treated with traditional antiseptic medicine from tuber material. When smeared with drugs, the backs of the youth will feel very sore. The wound will dry and heal within a few days. This tradition is done to train mentally and physically Tenganan villagers. At the time of the Pandanus war in mid-July, you will see many photographers covering this event.

The pond is in the North, the area is bigger than the pool in the south. In the middle of the pond in the north, there is a bridge used to cross the pond.
